These terms govern your use of FixRent. By creating an account, you agree to them.
The service
FixRent is a back-office tool that tracks rent and utilities, shows who's late, and helps you send reminders. It is a record-keeping and communication tool — not a payment processor, bank, or financial or legal advisor. You remain responsible for your own billing decisions, tax, and compliance.
No payment processing
FixRent never collects, holds, or transfers your tenants' rent. You mark invoices paid manually; tenants pay you directly by whatever means you arrange. We are not a party to those payments.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the accuracy of the data you enter, including that you have the right to store your tenants' details.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, no reselling the service.
Beta & availability
FixRent is currently in beta and provided "as is." We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change.
Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the cadence you choose. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FixRent is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the prior 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
